In a pragmatic move geared towards consolidating on the gains and achievements of the Corps in Kano, Commandant Shafi’u Abdulmumini, newly deployed state Commandant of the NSCDC Kano command summoned a strategic meeting involving all Heads of departments and units.

The state Commandant used the occasion to admonish HoDs/HoUs to live up to expectation by doing all that is necessary to deliver on the assigned roles and responsibilities. ” I’m expecting you to always do your work diligently. You all know your responsibilities, I therefore urge you to put in more efforts in achieving our set targets of living up to the expectation of the masses”.

Comdt Shafi’u solicited the full support and cooperation of the management so as to take the Corps to greater height.

He further cautioned personnel against lackadaisical attitude, maintaining that lateness and absenteeism will never be condoned by him.

He further disclosed that in as much as he will run an open door policy and will have a listening ears, he will never be a party to gossiping and side talks, ” always do your work well and concentrate on your assigned duties”, Comdt Shafi’u concluded.

As expected, the management staff reaffirmed their loyalty, support and cooperation to the new corps helmsman in the state.
