The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, has affirmed the Corps’ passion and determination in ensuring the execution of its mandate to the best of its ability, with a view to contributing its own quota to the attainment and sustenance of security in Nigeria at all times.
Speaking yesterday shortly after he was presented with the 4th Year Compendium of his achiviements in office as the Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Dr Audi emphasised the non of the statutory mandates of the Corps would suffer under his watch.
“I’m most delighted that our patriotic zeal, passion, and determination to free Nigeria from insecurity have not waned in the last four years of my administration; rather, they have continued to wax stronger. This explains why we achieved an unprecedented number of arrests of criminal suspects in the last 12 months, which shot up by about 700 percent, as reflected in the 4th year compendium of our achievements.” Audi said.
Dr. Audi however thanked the compendium’s author for his sense of patriotism and commitment to the security of Nigeria, especially as it concerns his interest in the success of the NSCDC as a para military agency in the last four years, emphasising that his fresh innovations in security reportage are worthwhile and beneficial to the country.’

While presenting the 778-page compendium to the Commandant General, the Editor-in-Chief/CEO, People’s Security Monitor and author of the book, Isiaka Mustapha, disclosed that the Corps had performed exceptionally well in the 4th year of Dr. Audi’s administration, revealing how the Corps achieved an unprecedented number of criminal arrests and high-level protection of critical national assets.
”Permit me to say, without fear of contradiction, that the NSCDC under your leadership is already being categorised as a role model security outfit within the public domain, especially among stakeholders in the security community, due to your exemplary performance. It may interest you to know that almost all segments of your activities have recorded over a 700 percent increase in the last 12 months, marking your 4th year in office.” said Mustapha.
