KATSINA NSCDC COMMANDANT, AMINU AHMAD VISITS FORMER PRESIDENT, MUHAMMADU BUHARI

As part of his reviewed strategies to fostering strong relationships with esteem individuals and institutions in the State, the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Katsina State Command, Commandant of Corps Aminu Datti Ahmad has paid a visit to former President, Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Daura, Katsina State.

Commandant Ahmad conveyed the warm greetings of the Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi and his renewed commitments to security and protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructures in the Country.

Ahmad expressed much appreciation to the former President for approving the visit and warm reception accorded to him and his team.The State Commandant further acknowledged the invaluable contributions and services of His Excellency to the nation

Recognizing his wealth of experience and wisdom, the NSCDC Boss in the State sought the fatherly advice, blessings and guidance of His Excellency to effectively promote safety, security and execute other mandate of NSCDC in the State.
” As a father and a leader I am here today with my team to seek for your fatherly advice, blessings and guidance to promote safety, security and execute other mandate of NSCDC in the State” the Commandant reiterated

In his remarks, the former President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR welcome Comdnt. Ahmad to Katsina State and expressed much appreciation for the visit. He encouraged the State Commandant on commitments and dedication to the service considering the remarkable progress of the Corps over the years.

In conclusion, His Excellency emphasized on service with integrity, God fearing, honesty and patriotism. He further tasked the Commandant team for dedication loyalty and commitments for more fulfilment.

In another development, the State Commandant received the Project Manager Search for Common Ground on familiarization visit at his Office State Headquarters Katsina, Katsina State.

The Manager thanked the State Commandant for the warm reception during the visit and stated that the visit was meant for familiarization and to foster strong Collaboration with the Corps in the State.

The Manager emphasized on the project commitments to strengthened peace and security in the implementation areas.Other areas pointed by the project Manager included enhancing early warning early response mechanism,plan for capacity building programs, memorandum of understanding signed with the Corps at National Headquarters among others.

In his response, the State Commandant welcome the team in his office and noted the grassroots coverage of NSCDC across the State. He further assured readiness of NSCDC Katsina to collaborate with the project in promoting safety and security in the State.
