In a bid to further empower the youths in Nigeria and make them self reliant and future entrepreneurs, the Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande has promised to collaborate with Philmaryjoe Unimi Foundation (PUF).

The Minister made this promise during a courtesy visit on him recently at the Federal Secretariat by the representatives of the Foundation led by the President, Mrs A. O. Philip.

Comrade Ayodele applauded the organization for its efforts in seeing that youths in the country acquire skills and become responsible citizens and leaders of the country.

He added, “the nation is blessed and all resources will be harnessed to ensure that the youths of this country get the necessary support they need to become whom they want to be.”

The Honourable who without hesitation endorsed the foundation and promised his maximum support in areas of skills acquisition trainings and other support that the foundation might need to further make the youths economically viable since the foundation goals are in alignment with the ministry’s goals and that of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

Speaking earlier in her remark, President of the Foundation, Mrs Philip, said there is need to instill the fear of God in youths because the more of God in them, the less of the ills in the society.

The President further highlighted the main goals of Philmaryjoe Unimi Foundation to include: creating the consciousness of the creator in the minds the youths, helping them to discover their purpose and live it and empowering them with skills and staters kits to make them self reliant.

The foundation which has been in existence for about four years since its establishment uses a model of train the trainer because its founder believes that the model will help reach a wider audience faster and better.

Philmaryjoe Unimi Foundation is a non profit non governmental non denominational organization which is set out to impact the lives of the youths of this country positively and has trained hundreds of youths and certified many in areas of graphic design, hair dressing, fashion design, make up, catering, cosmetology, tye & dye, shoe making and mini importation to mention but a few.
