Gombe Police impose 12am-5am Curfew Starting February 7

The Gombe State Police Command has imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew from 12am to 5am, beginning February 7, 2025, in response to increasing security threats in the state.

DSP Buhari Abdullahi, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, stated that intelligence reports have raised concerns over potential risks to public safety.

As a result, the command has decided to implement movement restrictions during these hours to curb the threats.

The police emphasized its commitment to ensuring citizens’ safety and urged the public to cooperate with the new measures.

Abdullahi also advised parents and guardians to warn their children about the curfew, stating that violations will not be tolerated.
