The State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Katsina Command, Commandant of Corps Aminu Datti Ahmad has visited the State Controller, Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) Katsina Command, Comptroller of Correction Baba Umar at Federal Secretariat Complex Katsina, Katsina State.
In his address, the State Commandant stated that the visit was necessitated to cement the already existing relationship between the two agencies in the State.
“The purpose of the visit is for familiazation and to seek for your cooperation, Collaboration and continuous synergy to tackle the trends of insecurity and promote safety and security for the good people of Katsina State”
The Comdnt. stated
Ahmad commended the State Controller in his commitments and dedication towards rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates in the state. He further thanked the Comptroller of Correction for the warm reception and assured his commitments to collaborate with NCoS in promoting safety, security and protecting Critical National Assets and Infrastructures, including the correctional facilities across the State
Ahmad noted the leadership commitments and vision of the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmad Abubakar Audi, to promoting Safety, Security and protecting Critical National Assets and Infrastructures in the Country.
In his response , the State Controller expressed much happiness and honour to welcome the State Commandant in his office and assured his cooperation, collaboration and continuous synergy to work together in promoting safety and security in the State.
” The effort of NSCDC in promoting safety, security and protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructures in the State is so remarkable” the controller reiterated
The Comptroller further noted that NSCDC and NCoS have been working harmoniously in eradicating different kinds of crimes and ensuring sanity in the State.
In another development, the Commandant visited two personnel that are sick and currently receiving treatment at Federal Teaching Hospitals Katsina, including the Chief Imam of the Command .
