COMMANDANT AHMAD RECEIVES MORE ROYAL BLESSINGS FROM EMIR OF DAURA

In continuation with his Collaboration and engagement with relevant stakeholders in the State, the Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Katsina State Command, Commandant of Corps
Aminu Datti Ahmad fsf MADM received more royal blessings from His Royal Highness the Emir of Daura Alh (Dr.) Umar Faruk Umar CON today Wednesday 5th February , 2025 at his Palace in Daura, Katsina State.

Ahmad reiterated that despite his famiarity with the Emir’s Palace, he was there to officially introduce himself as the substantive Commandant of NSCDC in the State.He further stated that the visit was meant to pay homage, seek for guidance, receive royal blessings and support from His Highness in order to succeed in his office.

“I am happy to be here today to pay homage, seek for your support, guidance and blessings in order to succeed in tackling the security chellenges in the State “
The Commandant stated

Commandant Ahmad conveyed the warm greetings of the Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi PhD, mni, OFR to His Highness and emphasized on CG’s vision to tackle the insecurity in the country.

The Commandant noted the role of the traditional institutions especially in the maintenance of law and order in the society.
He said that it became necessary to promote the existing relationship in order to achieve safety and security in the State.

Commandant Ahmad thanked the Emir for the warm reception accorded to him and his team during the visit and all the support and cooperation by the Emirate to the Corps.He further pledged to collaborate and synergize with the Emirate to fulfil the Corps mandate in the State.

The NSCDC Boss in the State also pledged his commitments and dedication to reposition the Corps in the State for better performance.He said the Command will always be happy to receive advice, guide and suggestions from the Royal Father and members of the traditional councils in order to help the Corps serve the people better.

Responding, His Royal Highness the Emir of Daura expressed much happiness to receive the State Commandant and his team in his palace. He further described the Commandant team as all inclusive considering the caliber of the management staff involved.

The Emir emphasized the relevance of safety and security in the State and the country as a whole.He attributed the rising insecurity to certain factors like poverty, ignorance and poor upbringing among others.

The Royal Father also urged the Commandant to employ more strategies, commitments, dedication, synergy and expertise in tackling the rising insecurity in the State.

In conclusion, the Emir commended the leadership of CG Audi for chosing Commandant Ahmad to the State.He further wished the Commandant better stay in the State and prayed for God’s guidance and blessings

“The CG has taken a commendable step for posting Ahmad to the State” the Emir reiterated
