In a gesture aimed at strengthening the operational capacity of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Gombe State Command, the Gadam Community Development Association (GACDA) has donated a brand new Hilux Toyota operational vehicle to the NSCDC Gadam Division.

The vehicle’s papers and particulars were formally handed over to the Commandant of the NSCDC Gombe State Command, Commandant Gyama Gyawiya, by the Divisional Officer of Gadam Division, SC Wanna Lawrence, at the Command State Headquarters, Gombe.

Commandant Gyawiya, visibly elated by the donation, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to GACDA for their generosity and commitment to supporting the NSCDC’s efforts in maintaining peace and security in the state.
“This donated vehicle will go a long way in solving the Division’s operational needs, enhancing our capacity to respond promptly to emergencies and maintain peace and security in the community,” Commandant Gyawiya said.
He further emphasized the significance of the donation, stating that it demonstrates the strong partnership between the NSCDC and the community, and encourages other well-meaning individuals and communities to emulate the gesture of GACDA.
The donation of the operational vehicle is a testament to the NSCDC’s efforts in building strong relationships with local communities, as seen in Commandant Gyawiya’s recent visits to key stakeholders.
