The Commandant Depot Nigerian Army (NA) Major General Ahmadu Bello Mohammed has today 3 February 2025 paid a familiarization Visit to the Emir of Zazzau His Highness Nuhu Bamali at the Zazzau Emirate Palace Zaria Kaduna State. The Commandant while stating the purpose of his visit, informed the Emir that after his recent assumption of office, he had come to seek royal blessing and the cooperation of the Zazzau Emirate Council.

Maj Gen AB Mohammed who described the visit as a new dawn in the Depot Nigerian Army and Zazzau Emirate Council relationship promised to harness and improve the existing cordial relationship between Depot Nigerian Army and its host.

The Commandant also used the opportunity to convey the condolences of Depot NA to the Zazzau Emirate Council on the recent demise of its Council member Alhaji Rilwan Yahaha Fati the Sarkin Yaki.

In his response, His Highness the Emir of Zazzau, Mallam Nuhu Bamali thanked the Commandant and promised to give Depot NA all the necessary support and cooperation for it to continue to carry out its mandate. He further stated that modalities will be set in place to sort out other issues of common interest between the Zazzau Emirate Council and Depot NA.

The high point of the visit was the presentation of souvenirs and group photographs to commemorate the Visit.
