COMMANDER 18 BRIGADE BRIGADIER GENERAL IBRAHIM GAMBARI PAYS COURTESY CALL TO ROYAL HIGHNESS ETSU NUPE, DR. YAHAYA ABUBAKAR

The Commander 18 Brigade, Brigadier General Ibrahim Babatunde Gambari, who was recently assumed duty, paid a courtesy call to His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Yahaya Abubakar CFR Etsu Nupe Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers on 30 January 2025. The visit marked the first visit of Brig Gen Gambari as part of his familiarization tour to key stakeholders within the Brigade area of responsibility.

General Gambari expressed his gratitude to the Etsu Nupe and members of the Bida Emirate Council during the meeting for their usual support to the Brigade, particularly in security related matters. He emphasized the need for continued guidance and fatherly support from traditional leaders to enhance collaborative efforts in maintaining peace and security in Niger State.

General Gambari pledged to utilize all lawful means to ensure the safety of lives and properties within his jurisdiction. He also reaffirming his commitment to serve the good citizens of Niger State effectively.

In his response, Etsu Nupe Yahaya Abubakar appreciated General Gambari’s visit and assured him of his continued support for the Brigade and overall security efforts in Niger State.
