The Department of State Services and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Edo have agreed to deepen Collaboration in efforts to enhance Security coverage and Operational success in Edo State.
This decision was reached today when the state Director Mr Isaac Chikere, the newly Deployed State Director of Security (SDS) Department of State Service Edo State, paid a familiarization visit to Commandant Agun Gbenga at the NSCDC State Command Headquarters in Benin.
“I am Honoured to be here this afternoon, I am here to Introduce myself as the New State Director of Security. and also to build on the existing working relationship between us. DSS and NSCDC have Strong Synergy especially in intelligence sharing. which I know will be sustained.” Chikere said.
While Commending NSCDC for being a good partner in the fight against insecurity, he called for more robust collaborative efforts in the pursuit for both agencies individual mandate.
In his remark, Commandant Gbenga welcomed the State Director and his entourage to the state command Headquarters.
Commandant Agun Gbenga intimated the State Director and his entourage on the corps core mandates.
Commandant reaffirmed the NSCDC’s Commitment to Collaborating with the DSS, assuring the State Director of the Corps Willingness to Oblige any request from them and Foster a spirit of Cooperation essential in tackling Modern Security Threats.
