NSCDC RENEWS SYNERGY WITH NIGERIA ARMY IN KATSINA

The Katsina Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the 17 Brigade Nigeria Army Katsina have strengthened partnership to combat security chellenges in the country.

This was emphasized during a courtesy visit by the State Commandant,Aminu Datti Ahmad fsf, MADM to the Commander 17 Brigade Nigeria Army Katsina Brigadier General BO Omopariola DSS, psc(Gh), psc(+) fdc today 27th January, 2025 at the Brigade Command Headquarters Natsinta Katsina, Katsina State.

Commandant Ahmad expressed much appreciation for the warm reception accorded to him and his team during the visit.He further said the visit was necessitated by the need to cement on the already existing relationship between the two agencies and called for continuous cooperation and synergy .

“With the current trend of insecurity in the State, there should be strong collaboration among all the security agencies to secure the State and the country as a whole” the Comdt. stated.

The State Commandant noted the commitments and leadership vision of Commandant General
Ahmed Abubakar Audi PhD, mni, OFR to foster Collaboration among security agencies as one of the best strategies to combat crimes.He reiterated that
sharing credible intelligence, joint operations and training would improved greatly with better collaboration among the two agencies.

Responding, the Brigade Commander commended the commitments of NSCDC in the protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructures.He further stated that there has been a harmonious working relationship between the two agencies and he has been collaborating with NSCDC in different operations.

The Commander pledged for continuous cooperation, Collaboration and wished the new Commandant better stay in his new Command.

Highlights of the visit include presentation of souvenir and group photograph.
