The State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Katsina Command, Commandant of Corps Jamilu A. Indabawa has  received a compendium containing the outstanding third  year score sheet of  Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, the Commandant General of the Corps at the State NSCDC Headquarters in Katsina State.

 Author of the book and Editor-in-Chief, People’s Security Monitor, Isiaka Mustapha while presenting the compendium said CG A.A Audi has changed the narrations of the Corps especially in the excellent execution of its  mandate.

He attributed this largely to the sterling leadership quality which he has applied to transform the Corps within a space of three years in office, stressing that the concept of the book is to set on record the brilliant performance of Dr Audi as NSCDC CG.

In his response, Commandant Indabawa commended the author for his commitments, motivation and brilliance to produce such a compendium which encompasses laudable achievements of CG Audi.

“CG Audi is an exceptional leader with extraordinary exposure whose brilliant leadership and unwavering commitments to the development of the Corps are so commendable, CG Audi’s three years in office has undoubtedly witnessed robust welfare package for the personnel of the Corps.

The establishment, training, and commissioning of a formidable Female Squad to checkmate kidnapping of school children and enhance security in the nation’s education institutions forms part of his laudable achievements.” said Indabawa.

The Commandant Indabawa further pointed out that under the leadership of Audi NSCDC has been rejuvenated and has recorded successes in the protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure, sanitizing private security companies, disaster and rescue management,conviction of arrested suspects,regular and prompt sharing of actionable intelligence, synergy with other security agencies and fighting the nation economic saboteurs among other strategic achievements.
