The Deputy Director of Security and Intelligence of the 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, has expressed profound appreciation to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Presidency following his appointment to the strategic campaign position.

Gagdi, in a statement issued in Abuja, described the appointment as a great honour and a call to higher service, pledging to deploy his experience, loyalty, and commitment toward the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and the party’s objectives ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He is expected to serve in the security and intelligence directorate alongside Hon. Bello Matawalle, Minister of State for Defence, as the campaign council prepares for the next electoral cycle.

The federal lawmaker expressed particular appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the confidence reposed in him, as well as the President’s Political Adviser, Mallam Ibrahim Masari, and the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, for their trust and recognition of his capacity to contribute to the campaign.

According to Gagdi, the appointment represents more than a political responsibility, describing it as an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to national service and the advancement of the party. He pledged to approach the assignment with humility, discipline, diligence, and professionalism.

The lawmaker emphasized the strategic importance of security and intelligence to the success of any national political campaign, stressing the need for effective coordination, timely information, stakeholder engagement, and measures that will promote a peaceful and well-organized electoral process.

He further assured the leadership of the APC and members of the campaign council of his unwavering loyalty and commitment to the success of President Tinubu and the party. He said he would work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to advance the objectives of the campaign council.

Gagdi also reaffirmed his commitment to the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, expressing his determination to contribute to the continued strengthening of the APC and its electoral fortunes ahead of the 2027 elections.

He called for unity, cooperation, and collective commitment among party members and supporters, stressing that the success of the campaign would require the coordinated efforts of all stakeholders.

The appointment further places Gagdi within the strategic security and intelligence structure of the 2027 presidential campaign, where his responsibilities will include supporting efforts aimed at strengthening security coordination and intelligence preparedness for campaign activities.

Concluding his appreciation, Gagdi said he was humbled by the confidence placed in him and determined to justify the trust through dedicated service, strategic thinking, and an unwavering commitment to the success of the President and the All Progressives Congress.
