PROTEST: IMO NSCDC BOSS, COMMANDANT MATHEW OVYE DEPLOYS 340 OPERATIVES TO PROTECT CRITICAL NATIONAL ASSETS IN IMO

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) lmo state command, Commandant Mathew Sunday Ovye has deployed 340 operatives of NSCDC lmo command to tighten up security at all the Critical National Assets in the state.

According to Commandant Ovye, the deployment became imperative sequel to the nationwide protest that commenced in some states of the federation 2 days ago.

The Security Chief clearly stated that NSCDC is saddled with the responsibility of protecting government critical assets across Nigeria, hence the deployment.

Despite the relative calm security situation in lmo state, we must be proactive by making deployments to provide security to these critical assets in the state such as offices of INEC, JAMB, CBN, NUJ, NUT, NTA, churches, mosques etc.

Addressing his men before leaving for operation show-of-force, Commandant Ovye charged his deployed personnel to be more professional in discharging their duties and never to compromise.
