PROTEST: IMO NSCDC COMMANDANT, MATHEW OVYE, ARMY BRIGADE COMMANDER, POLICE COMMISSIONER VISIT CRITICAL NATIONAL ASSETS SITES

The citizens and inhabitants of Imo State were set agog as they caught the sight of security agencies in their numbers for operation show-of-force. 

It was a Patrol that featured the state commandant, Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) lmo state command, Commandant Mathew S Ovye, the bridge Commander, Nigeria military, 34 Artillery bridge, Brigadier General Usman Lawal, and the Commissioner of Police, Imo Command,  Danjuma Aboki 

During the show of force, *Commandant Ovye* led the team to the visitation of some government critical national assets in the state such as the premises of Central Bank of Nigeria, JAMB, WAEC, NTA etc.

In his words, Commandant Ovye said that operation show of force is a confidence building patrol exercise that will last for 15 days and today is the 8th day. We are patrolling to every nook and cranny of the state. However, lmo state is relatively calm as no protester(s) has been sighted so far.

Commandant Ovye stressed that the calmness of the state will not deter his command from beoactive.

All hands must be on deck to provide adequate security of lives and properties of lmolites . 

The Security Luminary concluded by saying that all security Agencies in the state are working in synergy to ensure a peaceful lmo state.
