The current security challenges facing our state and the nation require every citizen to remain vigilant and security conscious.
Criminal elements behind these attacks are deliberate, organised, and strategic in their operations. They carefully study the routines and movements of communities, identify vulnerable moments, and exploit them to carry out their activities. This reality underscores the need for collective action in addressing security threats.
While security agencies remain fully deployed and are working tirelessly in collaboration with other sister agencies across Ondo State, experience has shown that some of the most valuable intelligence comes from vigilant members of the public who observe suspicious activities and promptly report them.
We understand that feelings of insecurity can arise when threats occur close to home. However, we urge residents not to relent. Remain alert, be aware of your surroundings, and take an active interest in the safety and wellbeing of your communities.
Security is a shared responsibility. We therefore call on all residents to partner with security agencies in safeguarding our communities, protecting our families, and preserving the peace and stability we all cherish.
Please take your personal safety and that of those around you seriously. We are on the ground, committed to our duty, and working around the clock to ensure the security of lives and property. Your vigilance, cooperation, and timely information remain vital to the success of these efforts.
Stay safe, stay vigilant, and continue to look out for one another.
