The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ondo State Command, Oluyemi Joshua Ibiloye, has been honoured with the prestigious 2026 Exceptional Leadership in Civil Defence Operations Award by People Security Monitor in recognition of his outstanding contributions to security management, operational effectiveness, and public safety.
The award was presented on June 4, 2026, in Abuja, highlighting Commandant Ibiloye’s exemplary leadership, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives, property, and critical national assets across Ondo State.
Widely regarded as one of the Corps’ most proactive and result-driven Commandants, Ibiloye has distinguished himself through purposeful leadership, strategic collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to promoting peace and security. Under his leadership, the Ondo State Command has strengthened inter-agency cooperation, enhanced community engagement, and sustained operational successes that have contributed significantly to security stability throughout the state.
The recognition also reflects the enduring impact of the visionary leadership of the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Prof.Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, whose transformational reforms, emphasis on professionalism, intelligence-led operations, and inter-agency collaboration have continued to inspire Commands nationwide toward greater operational excellence.
