NSCDC Boss Attends International Civil Service Conference 2026 in Abuja

The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, on Thursday participated in the International Civil Service Conference (ICSC) 2026 held in Abuja under the theme, “Reforms, Resilience and Results.”
The conference brought together top government officials, policymakers and public service administrators to discuss strategies aimed at strengthening institutional reforms, improving service delivery and enhancing governance across the public sector.
Participation at the conference further demonstrated the commitment of the NSCDC to ongoing reforms within Nigeria’s public service, especially in the areas of operational efficiency, technology-driven administration, inter-agency collaboration and the protection of critical national assets and infrastructure.
The event also provided a platform for the Corps to engage with relevant stakeholders on emerging governance and security policies designed to strengthen national resilience and improve synergy among government institutions in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government.
Among dignitaries present at the conference were the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Heads of Extra-Ministerial Departments and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Esther Walson-Jack.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was represented at the event by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume.
