The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nasarawa State Command, Commandant Brah Samson Umoru, has congratulated five instructors of the command on the successful completion of the Training the Trainers Course on VIP and Executive Protection Management held at the Civil Defence Academy, Sauka, Abuja.
Commandant Umoru described the training as timely and strategic, noting that it had further equipped the officers with advanced skills and professional knowledge required for the protection of high profile individuals and critical national assets.
He commended the officers for their dedication, discipline, and commitment throughout the programme, urging them to apply the knowledge acquired towards improving operational efficiency and service delivery within the command.
The Commandant stressed the importance of continuous capacity building in addressing emerging security challenges, adding that the Corps remains committed to professionalism, operational excellence, and personnel development.
He further charged the officers to serve as resource persons within the command by cascading the training to other personnel in order to strengthen the overall operational capacity of the Corps across the state.
The officers expressed appreciation to the Commandant and the leadership of the Corps for the opportunity to participate in the course, pledging to justify the confidence reposed in them through improved performance and dedication to duty.
The Nasarawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding lives and property, as well as protecting critical national infrastructure across the state.
