In line with the vision of the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ahmed Abubakar Audi, to build a highly professional corps of officers capable of representing the Service effectively within Nigeria’s security architecture at both national and international levels, the Lagos State Commandant, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, has recorded another major career milestone following his conferment as a Fellow of the Nigerian Army Resource Centre.
The State Commandant of the NSCDC, Lagos State Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, received the Fellowship Award during a prestigious conferment and investiture ceremony held at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre in Abuja. He was honoured alongside two Generals, a Colonel, and a university lecturer in recognition of their outstanding contributions to national development and security administration.
Speaking shortly after the conferment, Commandant Keshinro described the recognition as both humbling and inspiring, noting that the award would further motivate him towards greater service and professionalism. He expressed profound appreciation to the Commandant General of the NSCDC for the confidence reposed in him through various leadership opportunities, particularly his appointment to head the Lagos State Command.
The Lagos NSCDC Commandant also commended the management team, officers, and personnel of the Command for their dedication, loyalty, and unwavering support, stressing that the achievements recorded under his administration were products of collective commitment and teamwork.
According to him, the Fellowship Award would strengthen his determination to remain steadfast in the discharge of his duties, particularly in the protection of critical national assets and infrastructure, as well as the fight against vandalism and other criminal activities threatening public safety and economic stability in Lagos State.
Commandant Keshinro further reiterated that hard work, discipline, integrity, and dedication remain fundamental values in public service, adding that the recognition would inspire him to contribute even more towards advancing the mandate of the Corps and enhancing national security.
