NSCDC Kwara Command Unveils Operational Equipment, Commends CG Audi’s Tech-Driven Security Reforms


The Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Friday, April 3, 2026, unveiled a range of operational equipment and technological gadgets recently distributed to commands nationwide by the Commandant General, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, OFR, mni.
The equipment, received at the National Headquarters in Abuja, was officially presented by the State Commandant, Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga, fcism, FiCGPA, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen operational readiness and enhance the Corps’ capacity to effectively address emerging security challenges.
Speaking during the unveiling, Commandant Bodinga commended the Commandant General for his visionary leadership and sustained investment in modernising the Corps through the deployment of technology-driven tools and operational resources. He noted that the initiative reflects a proactive and forward-looking approach to security management in an increasingly complex environment.
Commandant Bodinga emphasised that the provision of the equipment is timely, particularly in light of the evolving security landscape, and will significantly boost the Command’s intelligence-gathering capabilities, surveillance operations, and rapid response mechanisms across the state.
He further reassured residents of Kwara State of the Command’s unwavering commitment to the judicious use of the equipment in combating criminal activities, safeguarding critical national assets and infrastructure, and ensuring peace and public safety.
The Command reaffirmed its dedication to professionalism, discipline, and efficient service delivery, in line with the strategic vision of the Commandant General to build a technologically advanced and highly responsive Corps.
