NIGERIA SECURITY AND CIVIL DEFENCE CORPS EBONYI STATE COMMAND

The State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ebonyi State Command Dr Elijah Etim Willie has assured residents of Ebonyi State of adequate security amidst the rumours of impending nationwide protest against hardship in the country.

The Commandant gave the assurance following a directive from the Commandant General for State Commandants to beef up security around critical national assettes in their domain

Commandant Willie who briefed the press on the level of preparadeness on the CORPS to carry out it’s mandate to secure lives and property charged Ebonyi residents to go about their normal duties as the command would partner other security agencies to provide security.

Acknowledging that PROTESTS are fundamental rights of citizens, he warned against the possibilities of lawless elements cashing in on the protests to unleash mayhem; stressing that security agents would not condone any lawlessness
