The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, PSC(+), NPM, has paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of Defence Staff, Olufemi Oluyede, and the Service Chiefs, as part of ongoing strategic engagements with critical stakeholders within Nigeria’s security architecture.
The visits provided a platform for high-level deliberations focused on strengthening inter-agency collaboration, enhancing intelligence sharing, and reinforcing joint operational frameworks aimed at effectively addressing the nation’s prevailing security challenges.
The IGP underscored the importance of sustained synergy between the Armed Forces and the Nigeria Police Force in maintaining internal security, safeguarding lives and property, and promoting national stability.
He further noted that improved coordination among security agencies remains vital in responding swiftly to emerging threats, combating criminal activities, and ensuring a unified approach to national security management.
In addition, the Inspector-General reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to deepening partnerships with the military and other security agencies, stressing that collective efforts and shared responsibilities are essential to achieving lasting peace and security across the country.
