The Controller General of the Federal Fire Service, Olumode Samuel Adeyemi, led a delegation of senior officers to the promotion and decoration ceremony of newly promoted personnel of the FCT Fire Service held at the Service Headquarters in Abuja on 16 March 2026.
The event highlighted the strong working relationship and continued collaboration between the Federal Fire Service and the FCT Fire Service.
Also present at the ceremony was the former Controller General of the Federal Fire Service, Ibrahim Alhaji Liman, who is currently the 9th Executive Chairman of the Niger State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB). In his goodwill message, he commended the Service for its sustained commitment to protecting lives and property.
In his remarks, the Controller General, Olumode Samuel Adeyemi, stressed the importance of professionalism, discipline, and dedication to duty. He congratulated the newly promoted officers and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by demonstrating greater commitment and excellence in service.
