Firefighters led by ASFII Gajere Usman, with Appliance FFS 206 driven by ASFII Muazu Bako Danburam, arrived at the scene to find a one storey building engulfed in flames. The ground floor of the building was used for carpentry work, while the upper floor served as a venue for church fellowship activities. The building covered an estimated area of 60 by 30 metres. Through coordinated efforts and professional expertise, the fire was successfully extinguished and prevented from spreading to nearby structures. Property valued at approximately ₦600 million was saved, while losses were estimated at about ₦2 million.
No casualties were recorded during the incident. After ensuring the fire was completely put out and the area secured, personnel and equipment safely returned to the station at about 5:30 pm.
