People’s Security Monitor Hails Reappointment of NSCDC Commandant General Ahmed Audi For Second Five Year Tenure

On behalf of the management and staff of the People’s Security Monitor, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, on his reappointment for a second tenure of five years by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. This renewal is a testament to his exemplary leadership, dedication, and commitment to national security.

Under the able leadership of Commandant General Audi, the NSCDC has achieved remarkable milestones in the protection of lives and property, community engagement, and the enforcement of security mandates across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. His tenure has strengthened the Corps’ operational capacity and enhanced public trust in the institution.

We particularly commend his visionary approach to modernizing the Corps, professionalizing personnel, and expanding specialized units such as the Mining Marshals. These initiatives have directly contributed to safeguarding national assets and reinforcing the security architecture of Nigeria.

The management and staff of the People’s Security Monitor recognize the Commandant General’s unwavering commitment to proactive security measures and his ability to inspire excellence at all levels of the Corps. His reappointment provides continuity for ongoing reforms and the advancement of strategic security objectives nationwide.
