The Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, Superintendent of Corps Oluwaseun Abolurin, has congratulated the Force Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, Mr Benjamin Hundeyin, on his promotion from the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).
Abolurin made this known following the official decoration ceremony held on Wednesday, 5 February 2026, at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Abuja.
While felicitating with the newly promoted ACP, the Lagos NSCDC spokesperson joined well meaning Nigerians at home and in the diaspora in commending the Police Service Commission and the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force for recognising merit and professionalism within the Service. He specifically praised the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, and the top echelon of the Force for approving the elevation of a dedicated officer to a well deserved and enviable rank.
Superintendent Abolurin also conveyed the goodwill and best wishes of the Lagos State Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, to ACP Hundeyin. He described the promotion as a fitting reward for humility, commitment, and outstanding service to policing and public communication in Nigeria.
He wished the Force Public Relations Officer continued success and greater achievements in his new rank, while expressing confidence that the promotion would further strengthen public trust and professionalism within the Nigeria Police Force.
