The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), through the Nigerian Air Force Institute of Administrative Management (NAFIAM), has graduated 17 officers following the successful completion of the Initial Personnel and Administrative Management Officers Course (IPAMOC) 31/2025 in Kaduna on 30 January 2026.
The graduands comprised 10 officers of the Nigerian Air Force and 7 officers of the Nigerian Navy, underscoring the NAF’s sustained commitment to human capacity development as a cornerstone of operational readiness. The programme further highlighted the importance of structured administrative training and professional knowledge exchange in strengthening effectiveness across the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
The ceremony also reflected the deliberate drive of the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, to entrench professionalism through standardised training frameworks and joint initiatives that deepen inter-Service cooperation and institutional efficiency. Representing the CAS, the Special Guest of Honour and Air Officer Commanding, Ground Training Command, Air Vice Marshal Adebayo Gabriel Kehinde, described the graduation as “a significant milestone in our collective manpower development efforts and a clear affirmation that professional administration remains central to mission success.” He noted that the course was carefully designed to enhance leadership, personnel management, and staff competencies required for effective service delivery across the Armed Forces.
In his welcome address, the Commandant of NAFIAM, Air Commodore Isaiah Taiwo, stated that the officers were rigorously trained to perform efficiently in appointments commensurate with their ranks and areas of specialisation. He expressed appreciation to the CAS for his continued support and the provision of critical training resources, noting that the Institute remains firmly aligned with the CAS’ command philosophy of “Standardised Training and Mission-Focused Capability.”
The ceremony featured the presentation of awards to outstanding officers in character and academic performance, followed by the conferment of certificates on all graduands. The event reaffirmed the NAF’s resolve to build a disciplined, ethical, and highly skilled workforce capable of responding effectively to evolving national security challenges.
