NSCDC to Adopt FRSC Performance Model as CG Commends 16 Years of Quality Management Excellence


The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Professor Ahmad Abubakar Audi, mni, has commended the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) for sustaining a robust Performance and Quality Management System for over 16 years, describing it as a benchmark for institutional efficiency and accountability.
Professor Audi gave the commendation during an official visit to the Corps Marshal of the FRSC, Shehu Mohammed, mni, where he praised the consistency, discipline, and professionalism embedded in the Corps’ performance framework. He noted that the FRSC system aligns with global best practices in institutional performance management and has contributed significantly to improved service delivery.
According to the NSCDC boss, the visit was undertaken in compliance with a Presidential directive mandating government agencies to understudy successful operational and management systems that enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in public service.
He stated that the NSCDC is fully prepared to critically examine every component of the FRSC Performance and Quality Management System, with the aim of adapting relevant best practices to strengthen its internal processes and operational effectiveness.
Professor Audi further expressed confidence that such inter-agency collaboration would deepen compliance with quality standards across the NSCDC, ultimately improving service delivery and reinforcing public trust in security institutions.
