The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ondo State Command, has decorated 110 officers recently promoted in the 2025 promotion exercise.
The decoration ceremony was presided over by the State Commandant, CC Oluyemi Ibiloye, who commended the officers for their dedication, hard work, and contributions to the Corps, describing their promotion as a recognition of merit and commitment to service.
Ibiloye expressed appreciation to the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Aud, for approving and implementing the promotions, noting that the gesture has boosted morale within the Command.
The State Commandant charged the newly promoted officers to see their elevation as a call to greater responsibility, urging them to improve their performance and make greater impact in the protection of lives and property across Ondo State.
According to him, enhanced professionalism and dedication were necessary to ensure that residents of the state “can sleep with their eyes closed,” assured of their safety and security.
Speaking on behalf of the promoted officers, Deputy Commandant of Corps (DCC) Folasade Olakanse thanked the Commandant General and the Management of the Corps for the recognition, describing the promotion as a strong motivation to work harder and justify the confidence reposed in them.
Also speaking, the Command’s spokesperson, Superintendent of Corps Daniel Aidamenbor, who was decorated with his new rank at the ceremony, pledged to discharge his duties with renewed commitment while strengthening public engagement and collaboration between the NSCDC and the people of Ondo State.
The ceremony underscored the Corps’ commitment to staff welfare, professionalism, and effective service delivery.
