NSCDC Ondo Command Certifies 22 BOUESTI Students After SIWES Completion

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ondo State Command, has awarded certificates to 22 students of Bamidele Olumilua University of Science and Technology (BOUESTI), Ikere Ekiti, in recognition of their successful completion of the Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES).
The certification ceremony, held on January 15, 2026, in Akure, Ondo State, marked the culmination of months of practical training undertaken by the students at various NSCDC formations and departments, where they were exposed to real-life security operations and administrative procedures.
Officials of the NSCDC Ondo Command commended the students for their discipline and commitment throughout the programme, describing SIWES as a vital platform for bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical experience, while encouraging the beneficiaries to apply the skills acquired in their future careers.
