NSCDC CG Hosts NIPSS SEC 47 Graduates, Urges Commitment to Institutional Growth and Professionalism


The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, has received officers who recently completed the Senior Executive Course (SEC 47) at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, following the successful conclusion of the one-year executive programme.
The newly inducted Members of the National Institute, Commandant P.S. Sosina, PhD, fsi, mni, and Commandant Mohammed Inuwa Usman, mni, formally presented their certificates and highlighted projects undertaken during the course. The projects demonstrated practical applications of strategic leadership, policy development, and innovative problem-solving within the security sector.
While commending the officers for their dedication and academic excellence, the Corps Helmsman charged them to mentor younger personnel and apply the knowledge and experience gained to support the growth and institutional development of the Corps. He stressed that continuous learning, strategic thinking, and purposeful mentorship are essential to sustainable leadership and organizational progress.
Professor Audi reaffirmed his commitment to building a disciplined, professional, and forward-looking Corps capable of meeting Nigeria’s evolving security challenges. He noted that by upholding integrity, professionalism, and operational excellence, the NSCDC will continue to strengthen its role within the nation’s security architecture and deliver effective service to the public.
