LAGOS NSCDC COMMANDANT CONGRATULATES PRO ON 2025 OUTSTANDING PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER AWARD, COMMENDS DEDICATION AND PROFESSIONALISM

The Lagos State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mr. Adedotun Keshinro, has congratulated the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Corps (SC) Oluwaseun Abolurin, on his well-deserved recognition as Outstanding Public Relations Officer of the Year 2025.

SC Abolurin received the award from People’s Security Monitor during its 2025 Annual Security Summit and Recognition Awards, held at the Nigeria National Merit Award House, Maitama, Abuja, on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

The Commandant formally recognised the achievement at a management meeting attended by senior officers, including management staff, Area Commanders, Divisional Officers, as well as Operations and Tactical Commanders. The meeting took place at the Conference Hall, Zone 1, Federal Secretariat, opposite TBS, Lagos, on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

While addressing the gathering, Mr. Keshinro expressed appreciation to the Chairman of the Award Organising Committee, Alhaji Isiaka Mustapha, for the initiative and credibility of the summit. He also commended the recognition bestowed on the Command’s PRO by respected stakeholders in the security and communications sector.

The Commandant further presented SC Oluwaseun Abolurin with a Distinguished Service Award for excellence in information management and public trust, in recognition of his contributions to effective public communication within the Command.

Mr. Keshinro described the award as a testament to SC Abolurin’s professionalism, integrity, and tireless commitment to public relations excellence in the NSCDC. He noted that the honour reflects the PRO’s hard work, exceptional media engagement skills, and consistent efforts in promoting public awareness on security issues, which have significantly enhanced the visibility and credibility of the Corps in Lagos State.
