Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd), formally assumed duty today, 5 December 2025, at the Ministry of Defence headquarters, Ship House, Abuja. His arrival marked the beginning of a new phase of leadership within the ministry.

Upon his resumption, General Musa was received by senior officials and departmental heads, who briefed him on ongoing operations, administrative priorities, and the ministry’s strategic objectives.
