Nasarawa NSCDC Boss Brah Samson Umoru Set for 2025 Exemplary Leadership and Security Management Award

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nasarawa State Command, has announced the nomination and upcoming honour of the State Commandant, Commandant Brah Samson Umoru, who has been selected by the Peoples Security Monitor for the 2025 Exemplary Leadership and Outstanding Security Management Award. The prestigious ceremony will be held on 10 December 2025 at the Nigeria National Merit Award House, Maitama, Abuja.

The award recognises Commandant Umoru’s unwavering commitment to strengthening security architecture, his strategic leadership, and his impactful contributions to public safety within Nasarawa State and beyond. Since assuming office, he has demonstrated exceptional dedication through reforms aimed at improving operational efficiency, intelligence-driven security operations, and stronger community collaboration.

Commandant Umoru’s leadership—defined by professionalism, discipline, and innovation—has elevated the reputation and performance of the Corps across the state. His efforts align with the vision and mandate of the NSCDC under the leadership of the Commandant General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, especially in protecting lives, critical national assets, and infrastructure.

Personnel of the Nasarawa State Command have expressed delight over the nomination, describing it as well-deserved and a motivation for greater service delivery. They noted that the honour reflects not only his personal achievements but also the collective progress of the Command.

The NSCDC Nasarawa State Command joins well-wishers nationwide in celebrating Commandant Brah Samson Umoru on this remarkable feat. As he continues to set a high benchmark in security leadership and public service excellence, many believe that even greater accolades lie ahead.
