Commandant Brah Samson Umoru Urges Personnel to Uphold Discipline, Humility and Professionalism at Friday Parade

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nasarawa State Command, yesterday held its routine Friday Parade at the Command Headquarters in Lafia, where the State Commandant, Brah Samson Umoru, addressed officers and men on the need to maintain unwavering discipline and commitment to duty.

In his remarks, Commandant Umoru appreciated all officers for their continuous contributions to the growth and progress of the Corps, noting that every effort at all levels strengthens the Command’s operational efficiency. He thanked personnel for their dedication, acknowledging the collective effort behind the Command’s recent achievements.

The Commandant also reminded officers of the Corps’ three cardinal principles punctuality, neatness and permission stressing that these values must guide their conduct both within and outside the Command. He urged personnel to internalise and consistently demonstrate these principles.

He further charged officers to remain civil, humble and fair in their interactions with the public and colleagues, while maintaining firmness in the execution of their duties. “Be civil in your dealings, serve with humility and fairness, but remain firm while carrying out your statutory responsibilities,” he advised.

Commandant Brah reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to strengthening discipline, operational readiness and public trust, assuring that the Corps will continue to fulfil its mandate of protecting lives, property and critical national assets across Nasarawa State.

The Friday Parade concluded with renewed enthusiasm as officers pledged to intensify their efforts in line with the Commandant’s charge.
