Abubakar stated that Bagudo has since been reunited with his family after receiving medical care. He added that the Commissioner of Police, Kotarkoshi, commended the combined security team for their professionalism and bravery throughout the rescue operation.

“The command appreciates the courage and resilience of all security personnel involved, as well as the cooperation of the good people of Kebbi State whose timely information contributed to the safe return of the Honourable Member,” the statement read.
