Jigawa NSCDC Boss Muhammed Kabir Ingawa Bags Nomination for 2025 People’s Security Monitor Recognition Award

The Jigawa State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Commandant Muhammed Kabir Ingawa, has been presented with a letter of nomination for the 2025 People’s Security Monitor Annual Security Summit and Recognition Award. The presentation was made by Isiaka Mustapha, the Chief Operating Officer and Editor in Chief of People’s Security Monitor, during a courtesy visit to the Corps’ Jigawa State Command Headquarters in Dutse.

During the visit, Isiaka Mustapha praised Commandant Ingawa for his leadership, professionalism, and consistent efforts to protect lives, property, and vital national infrastructure in Jigawa State. He explained that the nomination reflects the Commandant’s significant role in promoting peace, strengthening community safety, and advancing intelligence cooperation among security institutions. Mustapha noted that the upcoming summit will gather security leaders, policymakers, and experts to discuss innovative strategies for peace and national stability.

Commandant Muhammed Kabir Ingawa, in his response, thanked the People’s Security Monitor for the recognition and described the nomination as a call to greater service. He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to improving community relations, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting national security goals. The 2025 People’s Security Monitor Annual Security Summit and Recognition Award is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Nigerian National Merit Award House in Maitama, Abuja.
