As part of his ongoing official tour of Federal Fire Service formations within the Federal Capital Territory, the Controller General of the Federal Fire Service (FFS), Dr. Olumode Samuel Adeyemi,, on Tuesday, 14th October 2025, paid an inspection visit to the Nyanya and Apo Fire Stations. He was accompanied by senior management officers of the Service.
The visit also brought together staff from various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) who participated in an interactive session focused on operational issues and service improvement.
During the visit, the Controller General inspected the facilities, assessed the condition of equipment, and engaged directly with officers and men of the stations. He attentively listened to their concerns regarding welfare, logistics, and other operational challenges.
In his remarks, Dr. Olumode reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to enhancing staff welfare, bridging operational gaps, and strengthening service capacity for effective emergency response. He commended the personnel for their professionalism and dedication, urging them to remain disciplined, focused, and proactive in carrying out their duties.
The visit underscored the Controller General’s hands-on leadership approach and his determination to ensure that all Fire Service formations across the country are well-equipped and motivated to serve the nation effectively.
