NSCDC and Police Strengthen Partnership in Lagos

In a show of unity, mutual respect, and inter-agency collaboration, the newly appointed Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Lagos State Police Command, Superintendent of Police (SP) Abimbola Adebisi, was warmly received today, Tuesday, 14th October 2025, by the Lagos State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mr. Keshinro Adedotun, alongside the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Corps (SC) Oluwaseun Abolurin, at the Command Headquarters.

During the visit, the Lagos State Commandant commended both the host and visiting PROs for their professionalism and urged them to deepen collaboration and communication between their respective agencies. He emphasized the importance of sustaining public confidence through teamwork, transparency, and coordinated efforts in promoting peace and security across Lagos State.

Commandant Keshinro reiterated that while the NSCDC remains committed to safeguarding Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI), it equally values its partnership with the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies to achieve collective security objectives.

In her response, SP Abimbola Adebisi expressed appreciation to the Commandant for the warm reception and hospitality extended to her. She emphasized the need for continued synergy between the Police and the NSCDC, noting that such collaboration would yield significant results in crime prevention, conflict resolution, and the overall safety of residents in Lagos State.

The visit highlighted the strong bond of cooperation between both agencies, reflecting their shared commitment to public safety and national security.
