Fire Service and NSCDC Strengthen Partnership for a Safer Nigeria


In a renewed effort to enhance national security and public safety, the Controller General of the Federal Fire Service (FFS) paid a courtesy visit to the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). The visit aimed at deepening inter-agency collaboration, fostering synergy, and improving coordinated responses to emergencies across the country.

During the meeting, both leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to protecting lives, property, and critical national infrastructure. They emphasized the importance of teamwork among security and emergency agencies in tackling the rising challenges of fire outbreaks, disasters, and threats to public safety.

The engagement also highlighted the need for continuous training, joint operations, and information sharing between the two institutions to enhance efficiency and timely response during emergencies.

By strengthening this partnership, the FFS and NSCDC are setting a strong example of unity and collaboration in the service of the nation. Together, they remain steadfast in ensuring a safer and more secure Nigeria for all.
