The newly deployed Jigawa State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Muhammad Kabiru Ingawa, has reaffirmed his commitment to fostering stronger institutional partnerships that promote peace, justice, and public confidence in governance.
Commandant Ingawa made the pledge while receiving the Honourable Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC), Hon. Barde Usman Shehu Hadejia, who paid him a courtesy visit at the NSCDC State Command Headquarters in Dutse.
In his remarks, the Commandant warmly welcomed the Honourable Commissioner and his entourage, expressing appreciation for the visit. He assured them of the Corps’ readiness to collaborate closely with the Commission in addressing issues relating to public grievances, protection of citizens’ rights, and peaceful conflict resolution across the state.
According to him, under his leadership, the NSCDC in Jigawa State will remain steadfast in upholding fairness, justice, transparency, and professionalism in the discharge of its statutory responsibilities.
Earlier in his remarks, Hon. Barde Usman Shehu Hadejia congratulated Commandant Ingawa on his recent posting to Jigawa State and commended the NSCDC for its consistent efforts in safeguarding critical national assets, protecting communities, and supporting civil institutions. He emphasized the readiness of the Public Complaints Commission to deepen its collaboration with the Corps, particularly in public enlightenment, mediation, and the protection of citizens’ fundamental rights.
Both leaders underscored the importance of inter-agency cooperation in achieving sustainable peace, security, and effective service delivery. They further expressed a shared commitment to strengthening institutional synergy for the collective benefit of the people of Jigawa State and Nigeria at large.
The visit featured goodwill messages, discussions on future collaborative initiatives, and a reaffirmation of mutual objectives aimed at enhancing peace, justice, and public safety throughout the state.
