NSCDC Deepens Collaboration with Nigerian Air Force and Ministry of Justice in Katsina

The State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Katsina State Command, Commandant of Corps A.D. Moriki Acti Anim, on Wednesday, 8th October 2025, paid separate courtesy visits to the Commander, 213 Forward Operating Base, Nigerian Air Force Base Katsina, who also serves as Joint Force Air Component Commander, Operation Hadarin Daji, Sector II, Air Commodore G.I. Jibia, and to the Honourable Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Katsina State, Hajiya Fadila Mohammed Dikko. The visits took place at the Nigerian Air Force Base along Daura Road and the State Secretariat along Kano Road, both in Katsina.

During the visits, Commandant Moriki reaffirmed the commitment of the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, to ensuring the safety and security of citizens as well as the protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure across the country. He explained that the visits were part of his familiarization tour aimed at strengthening cooperation, collaboration, and sustained synergy between the NSCDC, the Nigerian Air Force, and the Ministry of Justice. The Commandant expressed appreciation to both leaders for their warm reception and pledged the Corps’ continuous support in achieving shared security objectives.

In their separate remarks, Air Commodore G.I. Jibia and Hajiya Fadila Mohammed Dikko congratulated Commandant Moriki on his recent posting to Katsina State and commended the NSCDC for its professionalism and proactive role in national security. They also assured him of their readiness to deepen the existing cordial relationship and enhance inter-agency collaboration in the interest of peace and stability across the state.

Highlights of the visits included the exchange of souvenirs, official discussions on security cooperation, and group photographs symbolizing mutual respect and partnership among the agencies.
