Commandant Moriki Pays Courtesy Visit to NSCDC College for Peace and Disaster Management, Katsina

The Katsina State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant of Corps A.D. Moriki, on Monday, 6th October 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Commandant of the NSCDC College for Peace and Disaster Management (CPDM), Assistant Commandant General Babangida Abdullahi Dutsinma, at the institution’s premises in Babbar Ruga, Batagarawa Local Government Area of Katsina State.

In his remarks, Commandant Moriki explained that the visit was aimed at strengthening the existing relationship between the State Command and the College, as well as seeking enhanced cooperation and institutional support for the Command’s operations.

He expressed profound appreciation to ACG Babangida and the management team for the warm reception accorded to him and his entourage, noting that the College has consistently played a vital role in supporting the Command through capacity-building initiatives and professional development programmes.

Commandant Moriki further emphasized that training and retraining of personnel remain central to his leadership strategy, adding that he places special priority on continuous learning as a way of improving the efficiency, discipline, and professionalism of officers and men of the Corps.

In his response, ACG Babangida Abdullahi Dutsinma commended Commandant Moriki for the visit and lauded his proactive approach towards strengthening synergy and collaboration with key stakeholders in the State. He assured the State Commandant that the College remains open for all training and development needs of NSCDC personnel in Katsina and beyond.

The College Commandant also wished Commandant Moriki success in his new posting and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to sustaining the partnership and mutual cooperation between both establishments.
