NSCDC DELTA DEPLOYS OVER 1,000 PERSONNEL AHEAD OF SALLAH CELEBRATION

  …assures protection of lives and properties of Deltans and adequate protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure

The Delta State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps,  CC Suleiman Jimoh has deployed One thousand, seven hundred (1,700) personnel of the State Command to ensure the safety of lives and properties of Deltans during the forthcoming Sallah celebration and to adequately protect all Critical National Assets and Infrastructures across the entire Delta State.

Commandant Suleiman whose reputation precedes him for his commitment to the protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI) in the state has put measures in place to safeguard all facilities of interest to the growth of the Nation’s Economy.

He commended the exemplary leadership of the Commandant General, Ahmed Abubakar Audi PhD, mni, OFR for repositioning the Corps as a formidable player within the nations security architecture.

The  State Commandant tasked Area Commanders to ensure proper Security coordination of their areas, while Divisional Officers are to effectively mobilize their personnel for deployment to all recreational areas and prayer grounds within their respective jurisdiction.

All Component Commanders and  Special Forces are to secure all identified flashpoints and ensure maximum protection of the Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI) in the State, which includes all Schools, to demonstrate our collective resolve to guarantee peace, safety and protection of lives and Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI) in synergy with other Security agencies.

The State Commandant concluded by  felicitating with all Muslim faithfuls in the state, the Country and by extension, across the world wishing them a peaceful Eid el-Fitr celebration, just as he prayed God Almighty for a more peaceful and progressive Nigeria.
