ABIA NSCDC, IHS Towers Forge Partnership to Safeguard Critical Infrastructure

Abia State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Akinsola Aderemi, on Thursday, 25th September 2025, received a delegation from IHS Towers at the Command Headquarters. The team was led by the company’s Senior Manager on Security Matters, retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu.

The visit was geared towards strengthening the existing relationship between both institutions, enhancing collaboration, and developing strategies to protect government telecommunication assets. Discussions also focused on tackling the rising threat of vandalism to critical infrastructure across the state.
