Oyo NSCDC Joins Nation in Honouring CG Audi at 58

The Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has joined millions of well-wishers across the country to celebrate the 58th birthday of the Commandant General, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi. In a goodwill message, the State Commandant extended heartfelt congratulations, describing the Corps’ leader as a distinguished officer whose exemplary leadership continues to inspire officers and men nationwide.

Reflecting on his assumption of duty in Oyo State on January 9, 2024, the State Commandant said Professor Audi’s vision of rejigging, revamping, revitalizing, restructuring, and repositioning the Corps has provided clear direction for the command’s operations. He noted that the Commandant General’s reforms have not only strengthened discipline but also sharpened the Corps’ focus in tackling security challenges across the federation.

The statement further acknowledged Professor Audi’s inclusive style of leadership, emphasizing that his strategy goes beyond internal transformation. By fostering collaboration, coordination, and cooperation with stakeholders across diverse sectors, he has left an enduring impact on security administration in Oyo State and beyond. The Oyo Command pledged continued loyalty and commitment under his inspirational guidance.
