NSCDC Deploys 500 Personnel for Coronation of Oba Rashidi Ladoja as 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland

“Our personnel are strategically positioned to secure all venues and routes linked to the coronation, including the Cultural Fiesta, Coronation Lecture, the main Coronation ceremony, and the Thanksgiving Service. We are working closely with other security agencies to ensure a smooth, hitch-free celebration that reflects the cultural significance of Ibadanland.”

In addition to manpower deployment, NSCDC has rolled out advanced crowd control measures, traffic management strategies, and surveillance operations to forestall potential risks. The high-profile ceremony is expected to attract dignitaries such as His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; the Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde; traditional rulers; government functionaries; and other eminent personalities from across Nigeria.

The Corps has urged residents and participants to cooperate with security operatives, comply with safety protocols, and promptly report any suspicious activities.

The Oyo State Command of NSCDC reaffirms its dedication to preserving the rich cultural heritage of Ibadanland and ensuring that the coronation of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, is celebrated in peace, unity, and security.
