Edo NSCDC Commandant, Gbenga Agun Celebrates Commandant General Ahmed Audi at 58

The Edo State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Gbenga Agun, has felicitated with the Commandant General, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, on the occasion of his 58th birthday anniversary, describing him as a transformational leader whose commitment to service continues to inspire officers and men across the country.

In his goodwill message, Commandant Agun commended Professor Audi for his outstanding leadership qualities, noting that his reforms and innovative policies have repositioned the Corps as a vital security agency in Nigeria’s internal security architecture. He highlighted the Commandant General’s emphasis on discipline, professionalism, and human capital development as hallmarks of his enduring legacy.

He further acknowledged that under Professor Audi’s guidance, the NSCDC has recorded remarkable achievements in safeguarding critical national assets, tackling emerging security threats, and fostering synergy with other security agencies. According to him, these strides have elevated the Corps to enviable heights both nationally and internationally.

While wishing the Commandant General a joyous 58th birthday, Commandant Agun prayed for God’s continued blessings, good health, wisdom, and strength upon his life. He reaffirmed the loyalty and commitment of the Edo State Command to the vision and mission of the Corps, pledging to uphold the values of integrity, discipline, and service to humanity as championed by Professor Audi.
